Team Profiles

Xavier Mas

Xavier Mas has more than 15 years professional experience in the design, evaluation and financing of international health projects , working for a range of public and private institutions. His experience includes leading international health projects in Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Morocco, Liberia, Angola, Argentina and Brazil as well as numerous sanitary and social projects in Spain and Portugal.

Louise Ormond

Louise Ormond is an international health consultant with a broad range of experience spanning the private and the public sectors. In the private sector, she has worked in strategy consulting and private equity in the life sciences sector. Her international health experience includes malaria control assignments, international program evaluations and developing Public Private Partnerships (PPPs).

Dr Roxana Rustomjee

Dr Roxana Rustomjeeis is the Director and Chief Specialist Scientist at the Medical Research Council in South Africa. She has 15 years’ experience in public health, designing, implementing and evaluating TB and HIV interventions and clinical trials. She has provided technical assistance to UN agencies including WHO/TDR to establish operational research strategies for TB/HIV in resource constrained settings. Her scientific contributions include publications in journals such as Lancet and AIDS.

Dr Andreas Schultz

Dr Andreas Schultz is a senior medical officer and a specialist in paediatrics, tropical medicine and public health with 11 years experience working internationally in hospitals, health programs and international donor projects. As Head of Programs, coordinator or consultant he has planned, organized and evaluated numerous development projects at different levels. He also develops and delivers innovative courses in International Child Health and lectures frequently throughout Germany.
